Nightchasers has a wide range of sound, lighting and visual equipment at its disposal.

The main deck consists of an 12-input Allen & Heath mixing desk, a  Numark dual CD/USB player, as well as our back up amplifier, lighting controls and Shure & Chord microphone receivers, all housed within a rolling flight case. Coupled to this system can be up to eight  regular 15-inch speakers (two active Alto TS315/TS215 , four passive), and two Alto TS215S active bass speakers.

We are also equipped with a multitude of modern disco lighting, ranging from moving head lights and LED spots to lasers and gobo projectors.

For outdoor events we use a similar set up, sans lighting, but we do bring rain covers for our regular speakers, as well as additional all-weather PA speakers, in case of inclement weather. We also have wind muffs for our microphones so we can still achieve good sound quality on blustery days.

Our primary microphone is a wireless Shure SM58, the very same model used on the International Space Station and by many major artists, including Paul McCartney and Roger Daltrey. In addition, we have a set of four colour coded wireless Chord microphones for occasions where more than one microphone is required, such as karaoke nights. We keep an assorted range of wired microphones as backup.

Additionally, we can provide a projector and a mobile projector screen for use at race nights, or wherever else something needs to be shown on the big screen. If a setup like this (either projector or large TV) is available at the venue then we can usually plug directly into that instead.
